WrightLabs

Solar revenue control

Keep solar customers informed from sale to installation.

WrightLabs builds custom customer portals for solar companies, keeping homeowners informed from the signed agreement through installation. Give customers one place to see confirmed project status, what happens next, anything needed from them, and who to contact. The goal is to help your team address uncertainty and concerns before they turn into cancellation requests.

Jamie Wright grew up around his dad’s electrical, carpentry, and handyman work and has done hands-on work throughout his life. He started and marketed a lawn mowing business in fifth grade, kept clients year after year, and earned referrals. In 2014 he joined A.H. Harris in concrete construction outside sales, helping crews adopt new products on the job and get their teams up to speed. After 18 months, he moved into solar.

Built for: Solar owners and operations leaders who want customers to feel informed and supported between signing, site survey, design, permitting, and installation.

Silence after signing gives customers room to worry.

The sale is signed, then the updates stop

A customer can feel forgotten when the salesperson moves on and the next project step is unclear.

Customers have to chase the team for answers

Repeated calls and texts can leave different people explaining different versions of the same project.

A concern grows while nobody owns the reply

A document request, changed expectation, or unanswered question needs a clear owner before the customer loses confidence.

One customer portal, from agreement to installation.

  1. Give every customer a clear project view

Design the portal around confirmed milestones from signed agreement through installation, with the last update easy to find.

  2. Make the next step understandable

Show what is complete, what is pending, who is responsible, and whether the customer needs to provide a document or make a decision.

  3. Keep customers updated when plans change

Explain a delay or open question in plain language, identify what still needs confirmation, and give the customer a dependable next update.

  4. Get concerns to the right person

Give customers a clear contact path and give the team an owner for each question, so a cancellation concern can reach someone who can address it.

Give homeowners answers they can act on.

  • One customer-facing view of confirmed project status
  • Clear next steps and document requests
  • A visible update history and point of contact
  • Pending dates stay pending until the responsible team confirms them
  • Questions and cancellation concerns reach a named owner

What we will not claim without proof.

The portal is designed to support customer communication. We do not promise a lower cancellation rate, a faster installation, or a revenue improvement without evidence from your business. Project dates and completed milestones must come from confirmed records.

Questions owners ask before they buy.

What should a solar customer portal show?

The confirmed project stage, the latest update, the next step, any documents or decisions needed from the customer, and who to contact with a question.

Can a customer portal prevent cancellations?

Clear updates can give the team a way to address questions and uncertainty earlier. A portal cannot guarantee that a customer will stay; any change in cancellation rates needs to be measured against your own baseline.

What happens when the installation date changes?

Show the confirmed change, explain what remains pending, and identify when the customer should expect another update. A requested or estimated date should not appear as a confirmed appointment.

Do you also help before the sale?

Yes. Lead response, proposal questions, and sales-to-operations handoffs can be part of the scope, so the customer experience stays connected before and after signing.
